Rules for choosing a Syrian domain name<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Registered domain names must be in the following format:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A- The Syrian national domain name in Arabic letters:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. To include only Arabic letters.<\/li>\n
  2. That a sentence begins with a letter, does not end with a dash \u201c-\u201d and does not contain two consecutive dashes. \u201c\u2014\u201d<\/li>\n
  3. The number of characters used in the name must not exceed 63 characters and must not be less than two characters.<\/li>\n
  4. The words should not be connected to each other and the name should not contain spaces. They can be replaced with a dash.\u201d-\u201c<\/li>\n
  5. The name must not contain the shadda letter \u201c\u0651 \u201d or diacritics.<\/li>\n
  6. The name must not contain the elongation or Kashida character \u201c\u0640\u0640\u0640\u201d<\/li>\n
  7. Do not use the zero \u201c0\u201d as a separator between words.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    B- The Syrian national domain name in Latin letters:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    It must be composed of Latin letters (A-Z), and does not distinguish between lowercase and uppercase letters, or numbers (0-9), the dash \u201c-\u201d or any combination thereof, and the use of characters from other languages \u200b\u200bis not accepted.<\/p>\n

    1. It must begin and end with a letter or number (A-Z, 0-9) and no spaces are allowed between the letters of the name.<\/li>\n
    2. The number of characters used in the name must not exceed 63 characters and must not be less than 2 characters.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/section>\n

      1. The domain name must be related to the applicant and not registered in bad faith to infringe upon the rights of others.<\/li>\n
      2. Names containing words with inappropriate meanings (in any language) or that conflict with religions, customs, or laws and regulations in force in the Syrian Arab Republic are not permitted to be registered.<\/li>\n
      3. The customer can choose between registering the domain name only without activation (without specifying name servers) or with activation (with specifying name servers).<\/li>\n
      4. A customer who has registered a domain name and specified name servers for it may register subdomains at the next level under the domain name he has registered, without charging any additional fees for this, provided that this is for his own use only, i.e., he does not register such subdomains for other customers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
